Wigan Athletic travel to Coventry City in the opening fixture of their 2015/16 League One campaign.

This is followed up by home fixtures against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 15th August and Scunthorpe United on Tuesday 18th August, before the long away trip to Kent to face Gillingham on Saturday 22nd August.

Latics round off August with a home fixture against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 29th August.

Stand out fixtures include promotion favourites Sheffield United at home on Boxing Day and at Bramall Lane on Saturday 6th February and a trip to the seaside to face Blackpool on Saturday 30th April.

Latics will be hopeful that they will have clinched promotion by the final game of the season when they entertain Barnsley at the DW Stadium on Sunday 8th May.
